Our Dairy Goat Herd
We own a small herd of ADGA registered dairy goats, Kenai Ridge Alpines. Two of our does, Lilly and Fern, are registered American Alpines. Our third doe, Zeena, is registered as an Experimental. She is half Alpine and half Oberhasli.
Our goats are all tested clear for CAE, CL, Johne's, and Brucella. We test yearly and keep a closed herd.
This year we were successful with some AI breedings. We had some beautiful kids this spring and have placed all the kids in new homes. We are already planning our breedings for next year and welcome inquiries about next years' kiddings.
Our goats are providing us with delicious fresh milk. Goats are a delightful animals and a joy to own. We enjoy our small group of does.
If you are in the Soldotna area and would enjoy fresh goat milk, please contact us. We do sell shares to our herd. Go to the Goat Herd Share page to look at our contract.
