Whisper Ridge

Millie is our current candidate for breeding. She is out of our Madeline (CH Whisper Ridge Call Me Madeline RN CGC) and Coury (CH Christopher Cournelius Marshall). 

Millie is a blue standard poodle. She is about 24 inches at the shoulder and 45 lbs. Millie is very intelligent and beautiful. She is very square in conformation with good shoulder and rear angulation. 

Our Millie loves to learn and loves to work. She's earned her Rally Excellent title as well as a Canine Good Citizen Advanced award. Millie lives on our farm, so passing the AKC Farm Dog Certified Test was a cinch. Trick Dog Novice came easily. Millie has also been awarded an Achiever Dog award by AKC.

We've continued to show Millie in Conformation in a Modified Continental trim. She's earned her Grand Champion title pending AKC confirmation.

In between showing and competing; Millie has raised three litters. She is an attentive mother. One of her puppies has gone on to earn his AKC Championship and another has earned points towards her championship as well as multiple performance titles. Her puppies are following in her footsteps. All three litters were sired by Sheldon, CH Lemoges The Big Bang NAP NJP CA. Sheldon has produced some lovely intelligent puppies with Millie.

We did DNA testing on Millie for "Dog Genetic Diversity Analysis". This helps determine the genetic diversity of an individual poodle. With standard poodles there is a tendency for a less diversity and more genetic health issues due to being more inbred. Millie is at the low end of "Internal Relatedness" with a IR score of  -0.19. This score is more accurate than determining relatedness by pedigrees. Millie's score shows that she has good genetic diversity.
