Breeder’s Terms Of Sale

The above dog has been sold by Marian Bowser and is represented to be in good health. The said dog/puppy has been immunized. Health record is attached.
The buyer, within seventy two (72) working hours from the date of receipt of said dog, has the right and option to take the dog to a Veterinarian of his/her choice to have a medical examination completed. If the Veterinarian should find the dog to have any significant health problems; upon written confirmation of said condition from the Veterinarian, the Seller shall, upon return of the dog from the Buyer, remit the above purchase price to the buyer, less any expenses incurred due to the buyers negligence. ( THE DOG MUST BE RETURNED IN 10 DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE TO BE REFUNDED). No veterinary or shipping costs will be reimbursed by the seller. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

If the dog should develop, before the age of 2 years, Hip Displasia or PRA the dog will be replaced by a dog/puppy of a future breeding by the Seller. The replacement is dependent upon a definitive diagnosis with written proof of one of the listed diseases. All medical care or fees for the listed problems are the responsibility of the Buyer/Owner.

This guarantee is only applicable to the Buyer on this contract. If the puppy/dog is sold or placed elsewhere by the original Buyer, the Breeder is no longer liable for issues arising after resale.

No veterinary or other costs of keeping this poodle, or any other costs incurred by the Buyer resulting from his/her ownership of the poodle, will be paid by the Breeder/Seller to Buyer under any circumstances.

Registration of this Dog is with AKC.

Dogs sold on Limited AKC registration must be neutered/spayed by (date)____________. This dog is sold as a companion. It is not to be used for breeding (intentionally or unintentionally)

____ Full AKC Registration
Dogs sold with full AKC registration are considered to be breeding quality. However, there is no guarantee by the Breeder that this dog will be successful as a breeding dog, in the breed ring or performance venues. Dogs sold on full AKC registration must pass all health testing appropriate for the breed before being bred.

The Buyer agrees NEVER to use this poodle for breeding for NON-AKC registered poodles or to another breed or mixed breed. Should the Buyer use the poodle for breeding NON-AKC registered poodles or mixed breeds, the Buyer will pay the Breeder $10,000 as compensation for damage to the Breeder’s reputation.

If the buyer cannot care for this dog at any time during the dog’s life, it is to be returned to the Breeder without refund of the purchase price. The breeder will then keep or rehome the dog.

Terms of Registration with AKC

The registered name of the poodle will be mutually agreed on by both Buyer and Breeder. The name will contain the Breeder’s Kennel name, Whisper Ridge, at the beginning of the name. The Buyer will be given all the paper work necessary for AKC registration. All registration fees will be paid by the Buyer.
