Madeline is now retired from breeding and is living a life of ease.

Madeline had her first litter in March of 2011. The litter is out of Woodie (See his registered name and his many titles on litter page). Woodie is a very versitile, intelligent, working poodle. He is very correct and sound in conformation. This litter of four males and three females have matured into great companions and working dogs.

Madeline was also bred  to CH Christopher Cornelius Marshall for two litters. Two of Madeline X Coury progeny are showing in the breed ring. Coury produced excellent temperaments in his puppies.

Madeline is a bright dog that learns easily. She has inherited her sire's willingness to please and her dam's intelligence.
In the show ring Madeline presented a pleasing picture. She was happy in the ring and has a nice perky, poodley, gait with a bit of spring to her step.

Overall Madeline is a balanced square poodle like her dam and granddam. Her front angulation is good with nice layback of shoulder and good length of forearm. She is short in the loin and with a moderate rear. Tailset is high and carried well over the back but has a slight tendency to curl. She could use more forechest but has adequate depth and spring of chest. Feet are nice and tight.

She is a dominant black with a good dense coat with fair texture.

Madeline's PennHip evaluation puts her hips better than 90% of poodles tested. SA and Thyroid are normal. Madeline is DNA clear for vWD and NE by parentage. She has also tested clear for eyes-CERF and for inherited cardiac problems- Cardiac CERF.
